Tasks and activities to be carried out within the project:

The planned activities to be implemented within the project will constitute the industrial-scale implementation of caseinate production according to the technology developed by the Company for their production from highly purified casein curd obtained through the use of modern membrane techniques. The project implementation plans include the construction of a modern production plant with the necessary storage facilities, a complete technological line, along with full supply infrastructure and accompanying installations serving the high energy efficiency of the plant, protection of the natural environment, and recovery and reuse of water, on the Company-owned plot number 4010/106 located in Sokołów Podlaski at Ząbkowska Street. Moreover, the implementation of this project will enable the creation of new jobs at the plant itself, as well as create a stable, regular buyer of milk for local producers – dairy cattle breeders.

Target groups:

The project implementation will allow the acquisition of the final product – caseinates with unparalleled market quality parameters, such as very low ash and lactose content and very high protein content in the dry mass. The main raw material for production will be whole milk. It is planned that the plant will process about 300,000 liters of whole milk per day, purchased from local milk producers – dairy cattle breeders. Caseinates are widely used in industries such as:

• Food industry – caseinates are used, among others, for the production of processed cheese, coffee whiteners, whipped cream, and various diet products such as bars, cookies, etc.
• Catering industry – uses caseinates for the production of meat products, cutlets, pâtés, fish pastes, etc.
• Functional food and sports supplements industry – caseinates are gaining increasing recognition in the production of protein bars and drinks, sports supplements, infant supplements, and protein crisps.
• Wine industry – uses caseinates for wine clarification.
• Animal feed industry – wide application of caseinates is visible in the production of protein mixes for livestock, pet foods for animals like dogs and cats, feed for farmed fish, and fishing baits.

The vast majority of the company’s products will be exported – to the Company’s clients in Western Europe, North America, and the Middle East and Far East. The project implementation will enable the creation of new jobs.

Project objectives:

The main objective of the project is to implement on an industrial scale the low-waste and environmentally friendly technology for caseinate production from highly purified casein curd developed by the Company, which will enable the realization of economic (planned economic parameters), environmental (high energy efficiency, water recovery, waste minimization) and social objectives of the project (creation of new jobs with full respect for equality and non-discrimination principles, creation of a stable and constant milk buyer from local producers).

Total cost of the project:

60,270,561.71 PLN (in words: sixty million two hundred seventy thousand five hundred sixty-one zlotys seventy-one groszy)
